Your Chapter Needs YOU!

New volunteers are always valuable since they contribute new ideas and additional skills.

We all have the same goals, such as, to further our skills, learn more about and promote our profession, and network with others. Please pitch in to help us provide services to you and our STC Boston Chapter members.

Program
Troubleshooting Microsoft Word

Description
You may have found Microsoft Word is a pain to use. Making lists that work, adding headers, formatting a Table of Contents—attempting these seemingly simple tasks without the proper workflow can cause serious migraines. At this meeting, a group of panelists will look at your troubled Word documents and teach you how to solve the multitude of problems that arise when working with Word.

Email your Word problems to Dan Greenberg (dsgreenberg@gmail.com) and we will make sure to address them at the meeting. If possible, attach the associated .doc file. For all emails, type Troubleshooting Microsoft Word in the subject line.

About the Presenters
Several STC members and Word experts will help you troubleshoot your documents and answer general questions as they arise.

Dan Greenberg, Senior Technical Writer at SunGard BancWare, will present an overview of typical issues and workflow suggestions for Word 2003 and 2007.

CB Loeb, Word Instructor at Cambridge Center for Adult Education, will be on hand to answer questions and help solve issues along with several STC Boston Chapter members.
