I have written many types of documentation ranging from an award-winning Getting Started to a system environment manual for application programmers and an application programming guide.
As a Visual Basic programmer, I have created my own software products (sports simulation games).
I enjoy the opportunity to make key contributions—such as providing ideas for a company logo or product enhancements.
Technical writing experience includes: Serving as a project lead (router, storage and video server products). Writing Command Line Interface (CLI) software configuration instructions for network protocols. Authoring and delivering software configuration, release notes, site preparation, and hardware installation instructions. Debugging hands on installation procedures and incorporating test results into documentation to ensure accurate technical representation. Designing product diagrams with illustrators, one of which won an STC Award of Excellence.
