Single Source Publishing Using DITA and Microsoft Word

Description
The program features a look at a new XML authoring solution from Quark® called XML Author which turns Microsoft® Word into an XML authoring tool. This software is an add-in to Microsoft Word that integrates into the user interface to allow you to easily create XML documents even with no knowledge of XML and little or no training.
An advantage to this product is that it allows even a non-technical person to create the content using a familiar tool (Microsoft Word), but behind the scenes they can be generating XML data. This approach reduces the time and expertise required to convert the content from Word to usable XML without using a separate specialized XML authoring tool. Quark® XML Author has already helped a diverse client base including the military and government, financial services, life sciences, publishing, and manufacturing, adopt dynamic publishing painlessly and consistently throughout their organization.
