We talked about it, worked on it, and argued over it for over 45 years.

Now its day has dawned: Certification!

Past Boston president Steven Jong, head of the committee implementing the
STC certification program, will describe certification in general, STC's
program and its history, and how and why the process will work. After the
presentation Steve will take your questions.

About the Presenter

Steven Jong works in Marlborough, MA as a documentation manager at Camiant, a Tekelec Company. He is a Senior Member of STC, a former STC director, and a past Boston chapter president. He led the task force that won approval for certification, and currently leads the implementation committee. Steven has also been active in the publications competitions at the Boston and international level.

Steven earned master's and bachelor's degrees (and a teaching certification) from Boston University. Steven lives in Westford, MA with his wife, three sons, and, somewhat to his consternation, five cats.
