Could you write a letter or an email that motivates someone to accept a face-to-face
sales visit? Could you persuade somebody to part with hard-earned money, and make them feel good about it? Could you get
somebody so excited about risking life and limb that they’d hand-deliver a check for the chance to do so?
Direct response copywriters can. What does it take to get someone to act…now? How do you prepare to write a successful direct response effort? What are the key questions to ask yourself as you write? Gary Lubarsky will answer these questions, and more, during this dinner presentation. About the Presenter
Gary Lubarsky has 30 years of experience as a direct response
writer and creative strategist, and he'll be sharing what he’s learned (and continues to learn) about the art and science
of writing for direct response media. He'll share samples of what has worked (and one or two examples of what hasn’t) when
he’s written for a diverse roster of clients, and will welcome your questions throughout his presentation. He promises
an interactive and informative session.
Over the course of his career, Gary has worked for agencies (Epsilon, Mullen), companies (Wang, Cognos), and spent over 10 years as a freelance writer and creative strategist. Currently, he works as a Marketing Manager for Cognos, an IBM company. Time
