Calendar -- provides an overview of selected month's events.
Programs -- provide presentations by a speaker or panel on topics of relevance to technical communicators. All programs are held at the Sheraton Lexington Inn, include dinner, and are usually scheduled for the third Wednesday of the month.
Workshops -- give members a hands-on and an in-depth look at specific topics of interest in technical communication. Workshops are always held on Saturdays and provide a unique opportunity to learn and network with your peers.
SIG Meetings -- offer the chance to learn more about a specific area of interest and the opportunity to network with others who share that interest. Currently, the chapter has the following Special Interest Groups (SIGs).
Competitions -- allow you to submit your work for evaluation by your peers. This annual event is a joint activity of the Boston and Northern New England chapters and also provides the opportunity for you to be a judge and evaluate the work of others. Submissions are usually accepted starting August and continue through early October. Winners are announced in February at the STACIEs (STC Technical Achievement In Communicating Information) banquet.
