Who Can Enter

Here are some qualifications for competition entries:

• You do not need to be a member of the STC. However, the entry fee is reduced if at least one of the authors is a member.
• You may enter as an individual or on behalf of a group or subordinate. In all cases, the owner of the work must give permission for entry and public display of the work.
• The primary communication objective of an entry must be to convey technical, scientific, medical, or similar content.
• Entries must be in English.
• Entries must have been accepted for publication (print or electronic) and may not have been entered in any previous STC competition.
• Entries must have been originally prepared for a client, employer, or publisher (except student entries).
